Dear Future Big,
I hope you get to read this, so you will know how much I already love you. Not too long from now, it will be time for the Big/Little Reveal and I cannot wait. I am so excited to find out who you are! I will run and squeeze you at the reveal so be prepared. I’m so excited for the close relationship I hope we’ll have. I hope we have fun adventures and crazy stories to share. I want to assure you that the love and affection you spoil me with as your Little will be returned by me just as much. I will adore you beyond words. And if you think one of your crafts is crappy, it will still probably look really awesome to me.
You should know that it sometimes takes me a little while to open up, but I will eventually. Once I do, watch out. Then I will not be afraid to be my incredibly weird self. Sometimes I bounce around and get excited like a child and sometimes I’m just plain weird.
I want you to know that I am always down for a Sheetz run or getting Chinese take-out. Anytime you want to hang out I’m there. If you show up at my dorm unannounced to say we’re going on adventure, I will come with you even if I have piles of work to do. I will always be up for a spontaneous trip with you. Anytime, you’re in the mood to stay in and watch movies (especially Disney movies, High School Musical, The Cheetah Girls, etc.) I will be happy to join you if you want me to. If you want my opinion on what to wear, I swear I’ll be honest and tell you if something is just not working. When you need a gym buddy I will try to summon up my motivation and go with you. If you don’t feel like going to the library or store alone, I will be glad to accompany you. I’m also there to help you study for that exam that you’re extremely worried about. And when life starts weighing down and your classes become too much to handle, I will have my drawer full of coloring books and play doh (and chocolate too) waiting for you. As well as a hug from yours truly.
I will be here for you to cheer you on and I will be here during the hard times. I will be here to laugh with you. I will also be a shoulder to cry on and someone to listen when you need it. I will accept you as you are and I know you’ll do the same for me.
I can’t wait to see what you have to teach me about sisterhood and life in general. To me, you are not only an awesome Big already, but you will be my Big for life.
Thanks Future Big, for being mine and for sharing my college and sorority experience with me.
